In Berlin on Prenzlauer Berg Michael Ferguson runs a small store called „Not a Wooden Spoon“. Nearly two years ago he started to create furniture like tables, stools and small cabinets made of recyled wood, which he finds on the street, in buildings which are being renovated and in containers.
We met him in Berlin, and we are thrilled of the beautifully handcrafted things he is creating out of raw recycled wood. He is not living buy the sea, but somehow he is working with material which is washed upon his shore. We like his passion, and his idea of re-creation. Therefore we want to merit his little business with the GREEN LABEL.
